Bangkok, July 15, 2025 — A two-day hands-on training workshop on the JRC IMPACT Toolbox for Forest Monitoring and Carbon Reporting was successfully conducted on July 14–15, 2025, at the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR), Bangkok. The training was led by project RESCuE team members Mr. Dario Simonetti (Italy) and Dr. Uday Pimple (JGSEE, KMUTT, Thailand), a spatial ecologist and remote sensing specialist.

The workshop aimed to enhance national capacities in using satellite-based tools for mangrove monitoring, carbon emissions reporting, and supporting broader technical preparedness, including compliance with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
